Krabi

Monkeys see, monkeys do, monkeys get in trouble too! 

I stayed at Yellow Sun Hostel, near Ao nang Beach, in Krabi. Nice simple hostel, easy to make friends and right in the centre of town. Krabi is full of market stools and is pretty buzzy but it is definitely more family holiday orientated. Towards the far end of Ao nang Beach is where all the monkeys congregate. Do not be fooled, they are not cute and they most definitely do attack. I was one of those victims.

I went on a James Bond Island tour and cruise. The day started with a visit to the famous James Bond Island to view the limestone rock which featured in the James Bond movie "The Man with the Golden Gun". This was then followed by canoeing through caves and the mangrove forest and finally a trip to the Muslim fishing village on the island Koh Panyee for a bite to eat. Before heading home I was taken to the Monkey Cave - Suwankuha Temple. I brought fruit to feed to the monkeys who are overly friendly until you have no more food - then they attack attack attack.

This was the end to my Thailand adventure. A whirlwind of three weeks - far too short. I shall be returning!
